Welcome to my World

To anyone who follows along on Twitter or Myspace, this is all the same old stuff. The biggest difference is that I'll do this one a little more frequently than the Myspace blog, but not as often as the Twitter feed. The real reason for doing this is reliability -- this blog is stored on my server, which I can back up to my own machine as frequently as I want to using an FTP program. Twitter and Myspace are at the mercy of Twitter and Myspace, and trust me -- in the years I've been writing stuff for the web, I've seen sites come and go -- and I don't want to see all this work disappear because Myspace gets bought out by someone and sent to the recycle bin.
